The board will be announcing their decision soon and releasing a response regarding the decision in the future

The next item on the agenda is on police disciplinary cases which there are non to review

Next item: Funds for may 2023 event are passed

Fred waller, interim police superintendent addresses his departure from his position.

The audience and other board members give him an applause after his report

Chief Administrator of COPA, Andrea Kersten gives her report. She says highest complain type is improper search. She says overall sustained case rate is in line with the national average.

She says she is glad to announce that the case load is just over a thousand which is less than it’s been in the past.

She says she’s committed to making sure that the timeline of their investigations is acceptable for every stakeholder involved.

Jorge Montes addresses his departure. He says he hopes to be replaced by another member of the Latino/ Hispanic community
